Susan V. Thomas

Susan V. Thomas, 80, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was the wife of the late John B. Thomas, Sr. who died in 1995. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Helm and Ruth Marie Bergstrom Helm.

Susan was an area resident all her life and a 1961 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. She served her family as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by three children; Marsha L. Thomas of West Chester, PA, Susan V. Dorsheimer of West Chester, PA and Clarissa S. Thomas of Atglen, 14 grandchildren, (several of whom she helped raise) many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Robert E. Helm as well as two children; John B. Thomas, Jr. and Terri Lynn Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville, PA.
