Stella W. Morrison

Stella W. Morrison, 91, of West Caln Township, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Hickory House Nursing Home in Honey Brook, PA. She was the wife of the late Ronald C. Morrison who died in 2012. They shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Roy Walton and Claudia Root Walton.

Stella was an area resident all her life and a graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. She continued her education and graduated from the Coatesville School of Nursing. She was employed, through the years, in nursing throughout the area.

She was a member of the Parkesburg Baptist Church and formerly had attended the First Baptist Church of Coatesville.

She is survived by two sons; Eric M. Morrison of Greensboro, NC and Alex J. Morrison of Coatesville, daughter-in-law Terri L. Morrison of King George, VA, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and sister, Marian Sheain, of Winter Park, FL and a number of half siblings.  She was also preceded in death by one son; Craig D. Morrison, two brothers; Fred A. Walton and Joseph C. Walton and several half siblings.

A viewing will be held 10 am -11 am Thursday, October 30, 2025 followed by funeral service at 11:00 am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA, Interment  will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville, PA. Family and friends are invited to lunch and fellowship at Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West St., Parkesburg, PA.
