Shirley A. Thompson
Shirley A. Thompson, 77, of Christiana, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond Thompson. Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Hunter Kauffman.
She is survived by two children, Carol, wife of Charles Pletcher of Gap and Randolph Thompson of Parkesburg, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two brothers Ronald and William Kauffman. She was preceded in death by one son Raymond Thompson and two siblings; James Kauffman and Evelyn Parks.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg with visitation from 10 to 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to help offset the cost of the funeral.
