Shirley A. Marple

Shirley A. Marple, 85, of Downingtown, passed away at Sunrise Senior Living on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Born in Downingtown she was the daughter of the late John Raymond and Esther Ann (Marsh) Marple.

Shirley was a graduate of Coatesville Senior Area High School. She was later employed by Pepperidge Farm of Downingtown for over 43 years, before retiring in 1999.

She loved spending time with her family, cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies, and making purchases from QVC.

She is survived by two nephews; Raymond Marple of West Chester and Ed Marple of Downingtown. She was preceded in death by her brother John Marple.

A private graveside service will be held at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, Pennsylvania.
