Sarah A. Hiland

Sarah A. Hiland, 82, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Pocopson Home of West Chester.  She was the widow of the late Robert E. Hiland, who passed away in 1981.

Born in West Chester, Sarah was the daughter of the late Lillian (Kearney) and William Clardy.

She was retired from the Daily Local Newspaper, where she had worked as a receptionist.

Sarah is survived by her two children Sally Jean Hoopes of Texas and Wayne Lewis Campbell of New Jersey; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren; two siblings, Doris Stackhouse of Cochranville and Clara Mae Baxter of Downingtown.

Sarah was predeceased by brothers William, Charles and George.

The Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 11 AM at the Cochranville United Methodist Cemetery, Cochran St., Cochranville with Chaplain Robin Martin officiating.
