Rose Marie Ramsay
Rose Marie Ramsay, 82, of West Marlborough Township, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in West Chester, PA. She was the wife of Everett C. Ramsay for over 64 years. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Catherine E. Groce Liney Sr.
Rose was a life-long humane advocate and never without pets in the home or in the pasture. She was as devoted to animal welfare as to her family. She was a four-season gardener surrounding her home each summer with wild flowers or preparing for each next season. A graduate of Unionville High School, she was a retired driver and worked for Kraft Paratransit Services.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Douglas E. (Eric Egert) Ramsay of Cochranville, PA, and Charles H. (Karin Zamora) Ramsay of Boise, ID, a grandson, Charles E. Ramsay of Moscow, ID, and siblings, James J. Liney Jr., and Catherine E. McKinnon. She will also be sorely missed by her nieces, nephews and pets.
Memorial services are being planned and details will be posted here upon completion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA or your local animal shelter.
