Ronald Barry Couram, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2026. Born on December 6, 1959, in West Grove, Pennsylvania, Ronald’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and friends, and the joy he found in simple pleasures.

Ronald was a man of great warmth and generosity, known especially for his readiness to drop everything to help his friends and family. He took immense pride in being a devoted husband of 43 years to his beloved wife, Susan Couram, with whom he shared many cherished moments, including visits to yard sales and afternoons spent at the Green Dragon. His strong, positive presence was a constant guide and support for his daughters Julie and Nicole and will be constant reminders what a great father is was.

An enthusiastic fisherman and skilled craftsman, Ronald found happiness both in building things out of wood and in quiet days spent by the water. His love of fishing created lasting memories with his nephew Bobby and grandsons Brendin and James, while family trips to the beach were a treasured tradition he shared with his granddaughters Jenavieve and Jazlyn. Another favorite pass-time of Ronald's was to host BBQ's in at his house where you would find him manning the grill. Those moments underscored the deep bond he cherished with his entire family.

Ronald’s legacy is preserved through the lives of his loving wife, Susan Couram; his daughters, Julie White (son in law Chris White), and Nicole Couram; his grandchildren Brendin Couram, Jenavieve Bortnicker, Jazlyn Bortnicker, and James Goodall; and his brother, Timothy Couram. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward G. Couram; mother, Wanda Sylvester; sister, Tammie Rushton; and brother, Donald Couram.

Ronald Barry Couram was, without question, the embodiment of the best qualities anyone could hope for in a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His memory, filled with humor and kindness will be honored and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
