Robert Nicholas Tackett

Robert Nicholas Tackett, 79, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 26, 2025.  Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late James Edward Tackett and Esther Mae (Carter) Tackett.

Robert proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He graduated from Delaware County Community College and worked for General Motors and also as a welder.  He enjoyed playing DJ at party functions and was famous for his blueberry pancakes.  He enjoiyed playing chess, bowling, watching wrestling and playing Nintendo 64.

He is survived by his children, Robert N. Tackett Jr., Tyrone J. Tackett, Michael N. Tackett, Corey L. Tackett, Jason Timmonds, Jessica Williams, and Robert "Bobby" Tackett, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Althea Taggert, Betty Jean Tackett, Diane Michael, Linda (Lenny) Miller, and Michele (Marvin) Huggins, and brothers, James "Busty" E. Tackett IV, Richard B. Tackett and William "Billy" (Alice) Tackett.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry George Tackett and a sister, Melissa Tackett Bowers.
