Born in Darby, PA he was the son of the late Robert L. and Harriet Jorgensen Hoag. Robert was retired from Wyeth Labs in West Chester and most recently was employed by SL Parma Labs in Wilmington. He was a member of the Willowdale Chapel of Kennett Square.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three daughters; Heather Hoag and companion Christopher Poling of Coatesville, Courtney, wife of Gary Balbach of Kennett Square and Mallory, wife of Zachariah Westcott of Oxford, three grandchildren; Aaron, Kyle and Gavin and one brother Donald Hoag and wife Lynn of California.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 am                       from the Willowdale Chapel, 675 Unionville Rd.,  Kennett Square, PA 19348 with call hours from 9:00 am to the time of the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1615 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.
