Robert G. "Blackie" Blacklock, 90, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Harrison House in Coatesville. He was the husband of the late Patricia Brownback Blacklock who died in 2014. They shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Chatham, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harry S. Blacklock and Rebecca Allen Blacklock.
Blackie was an area resident all his life. He was previously employed by Autocar before later working for Johnson Matthey in Frazer in the maintenance department, where he dedicated 20 years of service.
He was a member of the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, the Hemlock Lodge Hunting Camp where he served as a trustee, he was a life member of the Westwood Fire Company where he served as chief engineer, he was also a member of the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge #383 of Coatesville and he was a member of the Draggin Wagons Car Club where he made many friends over the years.
He is survived by one daughter Terry L. DiSciullo and husband Joseph of Coatesville, two grandchildren; Bert DiSciullo and Justina Grainger and husband Scott and "adopted" son Don Wiley. He was preceded in death by two siblings; Anna Stern and Allen Blacklock.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 9:30 am to the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 W. Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365.
