Robert B. Taylor, Sr., 75, of Honey Brook, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Tel-Hai Retirement Community.  He was the husband of the late Shirley Scott and the late Gladys McComsey Taylor.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Clarence L. and Ruth T. McDonald Taylor.

An area resident all his life, he was employed by Coatesville Plate Washer.  He was a member of the Coatesville VFW where he served with the honors firing squad.

He is survived by three sons, Robert B Taylor, Jr. of Honey Brook, Harry B. Taylor of West Chester and Jerry Kurtz and wife Dorie of Gap, three grandchildren and three siblings, George Taylor of Paoli,  Jeannette Shimer of Pocopson and Marie Ross of Gordonville. He was preceded in death by a daughter Robin Taylor and two siblings James Taylor and Rachael Whitely.

Funeral Services will be held on  Wednesday, March 5, 2014  at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, PA. Viewing from 10 to 11am.
