Richard A. Mann, 81, of Lititz, PA passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Evalyne J. (Curtis) Mann for over 55 years. Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late James Roy and Mable Elva (Newswenger) Mann.
Known by many as a soft-spoken man, Richard had a quiet strength, a great laugh, and a kind heart that touched everyone who knew him. He was happiest when he had something to tinker with — whether fixing, building, or creating. His hands were always busy, and he had a gift for making things work again.
A proud veteran, Richard served in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Airman First Class, E4. He carried the values of service, dedication, and integrity with him throughout his life.
He also had a fondness for old and classic cars, enjoying the time he spent going to car shows and working on them.
Above all, Richard was devoted to his family. He cared deeply for his beloved wife, Evie, and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. His love for Evie was always evident in his actions.
He will be remembered not only for his skills and passions but also for his patience, gentleness, and the quiet way he made life better for those around him.
Besides his wife, Richard is survived by Chris Mann (Oxford, PA), Justin Mann (Willow Street, PA), and Steve Mann (Gap, PA), and seven grandchildren, Darby, Brody, Evan, Colton, Travis, Rachael, and Carla Mann.. He was preceded in death by Nathan (grandson), Jimmy (brother), Ronnie (brother), and Linda (sister).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, from the Brethren Village Chapel in Lititz, PA, located at 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543 with visitation starting at 1:30pm followed by 2:00pm service.
