Obituary

Retta L. Miller, 92, of Wagontown, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hickory House.  She was the widow of the late David Edgar Miller, who died in 2006.  Born in Battle Creek, NE, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Phoebe Grubb.


She is survived by three daughters: Marsha, wife of Donald Tillman of Coatesville,  Constance, wife of Barry Ford and Patricia Miller of Marshalton, PA.  She also raised a foster son, William Biddle, who had 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.  She is survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a sister, Kathleen Owens of Rising Sun, MD.   She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and 4 brothers.

She loved sewing, gardening, crocheting and was an immaculate housekeeper.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, Visitation will be held from 10 to 11.
