Obituary

Reba Taylor, 93, of Coatesville, died on Thursday, June 27th, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of George Taylor. Born in Lenover, she was the daughter of Jacob and Hanna Griffy Hammonds. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion AME Church where she served as Stewart and member of the Choir and Missionary Society.

She is survived by one sister Sarah I. Jones of Downingtown and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Leon "Pete" Hammonds and Herbert Hammonds and three sisters; Ethel Mae Brown, Frances "Fannie" Bradford and Alberta Hammonds.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 11am from the Mt. Zion AME Church, 404 Zion Hill Road, Atglen, PA. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing at the church from 9 to 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 to help pay for funeral expenses.
