Raymond Leroy Weaver

Raymond Leroy Weaver, 88, of Nottingham, formerly of Honey Brook, passed away at his home on Saturd ay, May 29, 2010. He was the husband of Laura Clevenstine Weaver. Born in Martins' Corner, he was the son of the late Edgar P. Weaver and Ellen B. Bentley Refferd.
A Chester County resident all his life, Raymond served honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He was employed for 23 years by the Bricklayers Union of Philadelphia as a brick mason.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Ruth Ellen Flynn of Harrisburg, Laura A. Buske and Shawn D. Weaver, both of Nottingham, six grandchildren; Patrick S. Flynn, Jessica A. Flynn, Shane Buske, Troy Buske, Matthew Weaver and Cori Rose Weaver and one brother Gerald Weaver of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by two sons; Raymond Jr. and John Weaver.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, with visitation from 10 am to the time of the service, followed by interment at the Hibernia Methodist Cemetery.
