Patricia H. Buchanan passed away peacefully at her residence on December 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on September 9, 1934, in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, Patricia was the daughter of Maris Edmund Hilton and Dorothy Beatrice Diem Hilton.

Patricia, a lifelong resident of Sadsbury township, devoted her life to being a homemaker, a role that was central to her identity and her family's happiness. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, spending time at the shore and was an excellent seamstress. She served for many years on the local election board and collected for several charities.  She was predeceased by her husband James Chambers Buchanan with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. She was a proud graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville, where she completed her education in 1952.

Patricia is survived by her cherished daughter, Lori A. Buchanan of Parkesburg. She was the loving sister of Bertha Peace, Linda Hilton, and Edgar Hilton, all of whom have predeceased her. Patricia’s legacy lives on through those she loved and nurtured, leaving a profound impact on their lives and hearts.

The family has chosen to hold private services to honor Patricia’s memory. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, love for her family, and her remarkable ability to create a warm and welcoming home.
