Patricia J. Brown, 85, of New Holland, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Finigan and Katherine Hammer Finigan.

Pat was a resident of Parksburg until 2000 when she moved to Deland, Florida where she lived for 20 years to be close to her two brothers. She returned to Pennsylvania in 2020. Pat was a 1958 graduate of the Octorara Area High School.

She was employed for many years as an LPN and had worked at the Pocopson Home, Harrison House Nursing Home in Christiana, PA and more recently she was employed by Dr. Luchetti of West Chester, PA.

She is survived by two daughters; Jamie Reitnouer and husband Todd of New Holland, PA and Shari Thomas and husband Mike of Strasburg, PA, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother Randy Finigan and wife Wanda of Deland, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl L. Brown, one brother Terry R. Finigan, as well as her later companion of 20 years Peter Dmytryk.

Pat was creative. While raising children and working full time she also made ceramics, quilted, sewed, and crocheted along with other crafts. Upon retirement she became a gifted artist who was known for her paintings in various mediums. Pat appreciated the beauty in everything.  From her paintings, to her flowers and gardening, her orchids, her pets, she found pleasure in all these things.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. A private interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville, PA.
