Nancy Umile

Nancy J. Umile, 84, of Sellersville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home. She was the beloved companion of the late Richard Goodwin with whom she shared over 30 years together. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Sanford B. Mowday and Ethel Leslie Mowday.

Nancy grew up in Chester County and attended the Coatesville Area School District. She was employed for many years by the Downingtown School District as a custodian.

She had four grandchildren: Leslie Simione, Amber Gillespie(Simione), Ashley Hurley (Marino) and the late Michael Marino Jr. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren Daniel Kerns Jr, Benjamin Schantz and Grady Stiles, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Trudy Ann Simione, one grandchild and seven siblings; John "Jack" Mowday, Pat Mowday, Ethel Neff, Margaret Neff, Joe Mowday, Howard Mowday and Sanford B. Mowday, Jr.

Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St Parkesburg, PA with a viewing at 11:00 AM and funeral at 12:00 noon, followed by interment at the Philadelphia Memorial Cemetery, Frazer, PA.
