Maryllewellyn "Mary" Adams Pennington, 82, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Ware Presbyterian Home in Oxford, PA. Mary was an area resident most of her life. She was employed as a full time Nanny for over 20 years. She loved children, including the ones she was a Nanny to over the years. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Her advice that she wanted people to know was that family is first. She said she didn’t get that right early on, but finally did and she cherished the memories of her children growing up.
She enjoyed crocheting blankets and baby clothes for her loved ones and would quite often be requested to make special items like stuffed animals.
Mary received the Lord Jesus as her Savior when she was 13 years old and rededicated her life to the Lord in 1998.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. “
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
