Mary Jane Crisman

Mary Jane Crisman, 86, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.  Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, on August 15, 1939, she was the third child of the late Floyd M. and Gertrude (Lyman) Crisman.  

Mary Jane was a 1957 graduate of Meshoppen High School, Meshoppen, PA.  After graduating from Bryn Mawr School of Nursing in 1960, she worked as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Nurse at Bryn Mawr Hospital.  After retiring from Bryn Mawr Hospital, she worked as a traveling private nurse.  She also volunteered at the gift shop at Brandywine Museum of Art. 

She is survived by a sister, Kathleen C. Shepard of Lincoln, MA., and nieces, Susan Fuller Burns, of Colonie, NY., Sarah Fuller, of Rochester, NY., Tammy Perry, Tunkhannock, PA., Teresa Hennessy, Athens, PA., Lisa Tesluk, Tunkhannock, PA, and great nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at Tel Hai Retirement Community, Stonecroft Center for Worship and Performing Arts, 4000 Tree Line Drive, Honey Brook, Pa, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 10:30 am followed by lunch.  The service will be joyful and informal so please wear brightly colored clothing and bring stories of Mary Jane that you want to share .
