Mary B. Hilton, a beloved member of her community and family, passed into her Saviour’s arms on February 17, 2026, at the age of 93, in Exton, PA where she resided at Exton Sr. Living. Born on June 8, 1932, in Oxford, PA, Mary spent her early years surrounded by a large and loving family. She was the cherished wife of Harry Hilton, who preceded her in death, and was one of nine siblings.
Mary had a fulfilling career as an administrative assistant for Hercules Mushroom in Wilmington, DE. Her dedication and hard work were evident, but it was her kind and welcoming nature that truly defined her character. Colleagues and friends alike often remember her not just for her professionalism but for the warmth she brought into the workplace.
An alumna of Avon Grove HS, Mary proudly earned an Associate’s degree from Goldey Beacom College, a reflection of her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. She was a devoted member of the Highland Baptist Church in Parkesburg, PA, where she fostered connections and shared moments of faith and community with others.
Mary found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She leaves behind her sister, Ruth Schoch, of Avondale, PA, along with many beloved nieces and nephews who will carry her spirit with them always. Her dear friends Rich and Peggy Carnathan of Coatesville, PA, also mourn her passing, cherishing the many memories and remembering the joy she brought into their lives.
As we reflect on Mary’s life, we celebrate her kindness, her unwavering support for those she loved, and her ability to bring light into the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered, as we hold onto the many cherished memories and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
