Obituary

Marjorie B. Johnson, 92, of Chatham, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the widow of T. Edward Johnson. Born in New London, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Reba Buckalew Bush. Marjorie was an area resident all her life. She proudly served in the Women's Army Corp during WWII in New Guinea and the Philippines. Marjorie was employed by the Hercules Corporation in Wilmington, DE. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church of West Grove.


She is survived by three siblings; J. Paul Bush of West Grove, Charles Bush and Helen Downing both of Kelton and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:am from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 300 State Rd., West Grove, PA followed by interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kennett Square. Visitation at the church from 9 to 10:am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Disabled American Veterans, Attention: Gift Processing, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
