Lois T. Sensenig entered Heaven and was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 16, 2026. Lois was surrounded by her loving and devoted family, along with her Fieldstone family of caregivers in Chester Springs, PA, her home since December 2024.  Lois was born on March 5, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, and later moved to Honey Brook, PA, in 1947.  She was the loving wife of Paul R. Sensenig, who preceded her in death in 2017.  They shared 59 years of marriage and resided in the Coatesville, PA area.

Lois held many clerical positions throughout her lifetime, including Coatesville Area School District, Heatherwood Retirement Community, The Coatesville Record, and Daily Local News.  She retired from Tecot Electric to care for Paul as he battled Alzheimer's Disease. Lois also contributed as a freelance writer for local newspapers in their religion section, sharing Biblical insight for daily living.

Lois was a longtime member of The Forks of the Brandywine Evangelical Church and, in recent years, became a member of Wagontown Union Chapel. She loved her church community and enjoyed teaching, encouraging, and singing in the choir for many years. Lois loved to read.  Her favorite book was the Bible, and she spent her entire life reading it cover to cover many times over. Lois enjoyed gardening, canning, visiting the beach, and beautiful sunsets from her back porch. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her precious family, and she made every holiday and birthday a celebration.  She ended each one saying, "That was a really great party!"

Lois will be dearly missed by her family.  She was Mom to Jane Norton and her husband Scott, Ruth Kretchmer and her husband Gary, LuAnn Watterson and her husband Gus. She was Mom Mom to Karen Scharrer (Rich d.2017), Holly Rush (Aaron), Brooke Duane (Chris), Colton Kretchmer (Tori), Kaitlin Mensak (Nathan), Laura Watterson, Alyssa Watterson, and Christa Watterson, along with seven great-grandchildren, including RJ, Mason, Levi, Tytan, Ruby, Finnley, and Trystan. Lois is also survived by her adopted son and caregiver, Prince Jordan, and her brother Kenneth Thompson (Robin).

Lois was preceded in death by her father, Horace S. Thompson, her mother, Katherine F. Thompson, and her brother James R.Thompson.

Lois served in many roles during her lifetime: Wife, Mom, Mother-in-law, Mom Mom, Mentor, Friend, Encourager, Bible Study Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Group Leader. But the most important purpose for her was that of an Evangelist. "All I ever wanted in my life was for everyone I met to know Jesus."

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 23rd, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the Wagontown Union Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
