Lois F. Morgan, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, just one day shy of her 88th birthday. Born on January 9, 1938, Lois dedicated her life to fostering warmth and care within her family and beyond.

Lois will be remembered for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to creating a loving home. Lois found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly through her hobbies. Reading and gardening were some of her greatest passions. She delighted in tending to her plants and cultivating beauty in her surroundings. She liked to can and preserve homegrown vegetables and crafting delicious jams enjoyed by all. Her love of reading cookbooks reflected her culinary curiosity and she loved reading mystery novels.

Beyond her domestic pursuits, Lois cherished the time spent with her children at the library, nurturing their love for reading and learning. This shared experience helped to create lasting memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family.

Lois was very well liked by all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and engaging personality left a lasting impression on many, making her a beloved figure in her community.

While the world has lost a wonderful soul, the memories Lois created will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration for those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation from 1:00 - 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.
