Linda Lou (Renshaw) Kenworthy, born December 30, 1948, was the only child of James & Dorothy Jeanne (Irwin) Renshaw. As a young adult, she graduated from Goldey Beacom college and was employed as an administrative assistant at Lukens Steel.
She married the love of her life, Larry Curtis Kenworthy on May 7, 1971 and together they raised two sons, Scott (Debbie) & Joseph.
Linda was proud of her husband’s Air Force service in Vietnam, she had a deep Christian faith, and a love of music. She played piano and sang in church choirs for most of her adult life. After staying home for a period of time to raise her boys, she returned to the workforce as a Cafeteria Cook at Salisbury Elementary in Gap, PA. Late in life, Linda embraced new adventures - including a trip to Alaska in 2019 – and spending time with her two favorite people in the world, her grandchildren, Elias & Ashleigh Kenworthy. She never missed a chorus concert or theatre performance and attended every softball game she could. She always made time to catch up with her large extended family who adored “Aunt Linda” and loved hosting & attending family gatherings.
In addition to her husband, sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, Linda is survived by her brother-in-law, Everett (Mary) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends from all stages of her life.
Burial will be private, and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future at the convenience of the family.
