Obituary

Lewis C. Myers, Sr., 89, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the home of his son Gary. He was the husband of Esther Robert Myers who died in 2002 and his first wife Dorothy L. Sprecher Myers who died in 1992. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George A. and Maude Hines Myers.

Lewis was an area resident all his life and a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was employed by Fruit Growers of Chester County. He was a  member of the East Coatesville Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.


He is survived by two sons; Lewis C. Myers, Jr. and wife Susan of Coatesville and Gary S. Myers and wife Paula of Coatesville, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 4pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 67 Octorara Rd.  Parkesburg, PA 19365.
