Larry Joe Lloyd, 64, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Born in Memphis, TN he was the son of the late Lila M. Hamilton and Vernon Lloyd.

Larry served honorably with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW of Coatesville.

He is survived by his daughters, Alicia N. Lloyd of Parkesburg and Mellissa M. Grove of Parkesburg, a son, his former wife, Edna Brazzle, and Jermaine A. Brazzle, who he treated as his son; five known grandchildren, Jourdan Lloyd, Jarred Lloyd, Sionna Treadwell, Cion Brown and Ceron Brown; his brother, Robert Lee Lloyd, husband of Helen Holmes - Lloyd, and sister Priscilla Johnston; beloved cousin, Cheryl Blanton; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his sister Verna Mae Vann.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkeburg, followed by interment in the Indiantown - Gap National Cemetery.  The viewing will take place from 9 until 10 AM.
