Kenneth Mackenzie

Kenneth Mackenzie, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2026. Kenneth’s life was marked by steadfast dedication, both in his career and in his family relationships.

For nearly half a century, 49 years, Kenneth was a respected forman at Mittel Steel. A man of few words, Kenneth was known for his quiet strength and unwavering presence, qualities that defined him throughout his lifetime.

Outside of his professional life, Kenneth found joy in quieter pursuits. He was passionate about working on cars, a hobby that reflected his meticulous nature and patience. In addition, Kenneth enjoyed reading science fiction books. Those who knew him well also recall his affection as he cuddled with his beloved animals.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Lois Mackenzie, who stood by his side through the years with enduring support and love. Their family includes their daughter, Jennifer Stancliff, and her husband John Stancliff. Kenneth's grandchildren brought much happiness into his life: Tyler Ressler, Shanya Herr, along with her husband Curtis Herr, and Amethyst Kurtz, married to Benjamin Kurtz. His devotion extended further to four great-grandchildren.

The family respectfully remembers Kenneth for the steadfast, humble, and kind individual he was—one whose life touched those around him in meaningful and lasting ways. His legacy endures through his family and all who had the privilege to know him. Kenneth Mackenzie’s memory will be cherished with deep gratitude and enduring respect.

The family will be having a private celebration of life.
