Kathryn Elizabeth Mitchell

Katherine Elizabeth Mitchell, 85, of Paradise, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her home in Paradise. She was the widow of the late James T. Mitchell who died in 1984. Born in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Tayolr and Mary E. Macknieer Carolus.

She is survived by three sons; James T. Mitchell and wife Linda of Gap, Leroy K. Mitchell and wife Janet of Coatesville and Barry W. Mitchell and wife Cynthia of Paradise, with whom she lived with and Betty, wife of Francis Cannella of Glenmoore, whom she raised as a daughter, 10 grandchildren and two stepchildren; Kay Marie Swallow of Mississippi and Thomas Smith. She was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
