Joyce L. Kauffman, 74, of Atglen, passed away peacefully at her home on February 8, 2017.  She was the wife of Daniel L. Kauffman for over 54 years.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of hte late Charles and Beatrice Carr Gordon.

Joyce was a homemaker and attended Penningtonville Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and shopping for bargains.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Kauffman, of Atglen, and four siblings, Charles, husband of Patricia, of Westwood, Frederick, of Gap, Robert, husband of Fay, of Atglen, and Barry ,husband of Linda, of Quarryville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 3:00pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with the Rev. Craig Wiley officiating.  Internment will follow at Upper Octorara Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 until 3:00pm.
