Joyce Elizabeth Steele, 76, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her residence. Born in Kennett Square, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Thomas and Helen Virginia Daniels.

Joyce was employed by Pepperridge Farms for over 35 years in Downingtown, PA and later the Denver, PA plant.

She was a loving grandmother, a doting mother, a caring and reliable friend to many. Joyce had a great sense of humor, loved flowers, could plant and grow just about anything. Joyce was an excellent cook, and she loved her pets.

She is survived by three children; Glen A. Steele, April L. Steele, and Aaron R. Steele, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and six siblings; Joshua Thomas, Margaret White, Richard Thomas, Shirley Bowers, Janet Thomas and Michael Thomas.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
