Joyce E. Sherman, 73, of Atglen, passed away on Thursday, January 14th at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester.

Born in Atglen, Joyce was the daughter of the late Ella (Conover) and Paul Sherman, Sr.  She was employed at Irwin Textile Co. of Atglen for 25 years as a machine operator.

Joyce is survived by her siblings, Paul Sherman Jr. of Georgetown, Dorothy Eppley of York County and Wayne Sherman of Atglen.  She was predeceased by siblings, Bonnie Charsha, Hope Townsend and Howard Sherman.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in Penningtonville Presbyterian Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
