John V. "Bull" Proudfoot, 87, of Pomeroy, died at his home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. He was the husband of the late Lois A. Miller Proudfoot who died in 2013. Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of the late Chester J. and Ella Weaver Proudfoot.

Bull proudly served in the US Army. He was employed as a driver for Sadsbury Township.

Funeral services will be private.
