John David Mowday, Jr., 64, of Honey Brook,PA, passed away on Monday, January, 12, 2026 at the Sanatoga Rehabilitation Center in Pottstown, PA. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Ruth I. Smith Mowday and the late John David "Jack" Mowday, Sr.

John was an area resident all his life and a 1979 graduate of the Coatesville Area Senior High School. He worked most of his life alongside his father as a house painter.

He is survived by four sons; John D. Mowday, III, Joshua Mowday and wife Darla of Parkesburg, Jacob Mowday of Christiana, PA, and Jeremiah Mowday and wife Allyssa of Landenberg, PA, five grandchildren and three siblings, Vicky Mullen of Honey Brook, Joseph M. Mowday and wife Jackie of Coatesville, and Kimberly Anderson of Paradise, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service. Interment to follow at Upper Octorara Cemetery in Parkesburg.
