John A. Balistreri, born on May 9, 1949, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy enriched by his lifelong passions and cherished relationships.

A proud alumnus of the Coatesville Area School District, John graduated with the class of 1968.

John is survived by his brother, Michael Balistreri, along with a circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will fondly remember him for his warmth and wisdom. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Frank and Ethel Gotham Balistreri, as well as his brother, Frank Balistreri, who have welcomed him into eternal rest.

The memory of John A. Balistreri will live on through the lives he touched, the stories shared, and the bonds formed over a shared love of sports and music. His presence will be missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
