Jody J. Bush

Jody J. Bush, 69, of Parkesburg, PA was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 3, 2025 as a result of a motorcycle accident. She was the beloved wife of Thomas (Tom) R. Bush for over 45 years. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Gillespie) Barnett.

Jody was a resident of Parkesburg most of her life and a 1974 graduate of the Octorara High School. She was employed, for many years, at the Fulton Bank branch in Parkesburg.

Tom and Jody enjoyed riding motorcycle for the past 25 years and it was probably the one thing they enjoyed most together other than going to church.

Jody was an active member of The Power Place Church in Kennett Square, PA and she also volunteered at The Power Place Academy there. She also volunteered throughout her life within the Parkesburg Community.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her two sons; Daniel and his wife Danielle (Murdaugh) Bush of Ponce De Leon, FL and Peter and his wife Rebecca (Mock) Bush of Parkesburg, PA, three grandchildren Lukas and Jacob Bush of Ponce De Leon, FL and Clara Bush of Parkesburg, PA and one brother, Kenneth Barnett of Parkesburg. She was preceded in death by one brother Robert C. Barnett.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday evening, August 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA and A Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Power Place Church, 576 Rosedale Road, Suite 10, Kennett Square, PA with visitation from 9:30 AM to the time of the service.
