Obituary

Jessie DeLuca, 88, of Downingtown, passed away on Friday, May 18th at the Harrison Senior Living Center in Christiana.  She was the widow of Joseph J. DeLuca who passed away in 1983 after they had shared 39 years of marriage.


Born in Bridgewater, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Alec and Eva Andrews.

An area resident most of her life, Jessie was a parishioner of the Our Lady of the Rosary Church of Coatesville.  She worked at Cardinal Cotton and was a Crossing Guard in Coatesville.

Jessie is survived by her beloved daughter, Rose Mary Lepori of Downingtown; her granddaughter, Marisa Bean; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and her siblings, Sophie Labriola, Mary Linderman, Fred Andrews and Harry Andrews.

She was predeceased by her siblings William, Peter and Eva Andrews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the St. Cecilia's Cemetery of Coatesville.  The viewing will be held from 10 until 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
