Jane Ellen Simon, 80, of Coatesville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home.  She was the beloved wife of George Andrew Simon, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Jane was the daughter of the late Rose (Swoyer) Esworthy.

Jane was a 1952 graduate of the Coatesville School District and a faithful organizer of the Class of '52 reunions.

Jane attended the St Cecilia's Catholic Church of Coatesville.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her four beloved children: Beth Arnold, wife of Miles III, of Honey Brook, Andrew Simon of Coatesville, Alice Stauffer of Coatesville and Kathleen Wilmont, wife of Randy, of Modena; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and brother, Bill Esworthy of Coatesville.  She was predeceased by her son, Mark Simon.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville.  The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
