Hazel Gray Duncan

Hazel Gray Duncan, 89, of Tel-Hai, Honey Brook, formerly of Oxford, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 in the Reading Hospital in Reading, PA. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Duncan who died in 2021. They shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Oxford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Harlan Gray Sr. and Ethel Hilton Gray.

Hazel was a graduate of Chester County Hospital School of Nursing and the West Chester State College, She was employed from 1963 to 1993 by the West Chester Area School District as a registered nurse.

Active in her community, Hazel was a member of the Upper Oxford Historical Commission and a member of the Chester County Nurses Alumni Association. She was also a member of East Goshen Bible Church, and more recently the First Baptist Church of Oxford.

She is survived by two children; daughter, Patricia, wife of Charles White of Parkesburg, son, Charles, Jr. of Ercildoun, PA, with his fiancé, Traci Thomas, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and one sister Iris G. Dowling of Cochranville, PA. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Danielle Lynn Duncan and one brother Clifford H. Gray.

A private graveside service will be held at the Homeville Cemetery, Homeville, PA at the convenience of the Duncan family.
