Obituary

George D. Waldrop, 65, of Atglen, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Brandywine Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth C. Bradley Waldrop, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.


Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Henry Dennis Waldrop and Thelma Rebecca (Watts) Waldrop.

He served 10 years in the Army and was self employed as a Courier for 30 years, retiring six years ago.

He is survived by his two children: Kimberly Daniel, of Baltimore, Md. and George D. Waldrop, Jr. of California; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Judy Roberts, Sue Waldrop and Barbara Hale.

The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the Waldrop family
