Elizabeth A. Thomas

Elizabeth Ann Thomas, 88, of Sadsbury Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday night, October 19, 2025 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Clyde W. Thomas, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the only daughter of the late Jacob Habecker and Ester Hughes Habecker of Downingtown, PA.

Betty enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the world while he was serving in the US Air Force. She was an excellent homemaker and an avid bowler in her younger years.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children: Clyde W. Thomas, Jr. of Poquoson, VA; David Thomas and wife Linda of Coatesville, PA; and Dawn Schroeder and husband John of Sylvania, OH. She also adored her two grandchildren, Paul B. Schroeder and Diane L. Schroeder. She was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Thomas Elliott and her daughter-in-law, Marie married to Clyde Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 27,2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northwood Cemetery, 201 W Uwchlan Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335 with Pastor Mark E. Beideman officiating.
