Elizabeth M. Pendyck

Elizabeth M. Pendyck, 77, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in west Chester. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Pendyck who died in 2006. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida E. Mullen Canan.

An area resident all her life, Betty was a 1951 graduate of the Parkesburg High School. She was employed throughout her life at Lukens Steel, the Downingtown Motor Inn and the Coatesville VA Medical Center.



She is survived by his three sons, Paul Pendyck, husband of Jan of Lancaster,  Mark Pendyck and Kurt Pendyck both of Parkesburg and one daughter, Jan Bomberger of Strasburg, three grandchildren and one sister, Margaret C. Schafer of Parkesburg.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11 AM from the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 603 W. Second Ave. Parkesburg, Pa. 19365 followed by interment at the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.  visitation at the church from 10 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church at the above address.
