Obituary

Edward C. Cradduck, affectionately known as Ed, was born on January 18, 1948, in Worchester, MA and passed away on March 7, 2026, at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, Pennsylvania. A dedicated friend and craftsman, Ed leaves behind a rich legacy in both his personal and professional life.

Ed's career was marked by versatility and passion. He worked as a carpenter, utilizing his skills to create functional and beautiful structures. He further ingrained his love for craftsmanship in the community by owning and managing a gunshop at a local Farmers Market, where he gained recognition as a tremendous gunsmith. His dedication to repairing and selling firearms showcased not only his technical expertise but also his deep affection for the craft. In addition to his work in the gunshop, Ed served his community by driving a as courier for ESN formerly Med Trans, providing essential transportation services to those in need.

A proud veteran, Ed had the honor of serving in the United States Army, an experience that shaped much of his character and instilled in him a sense of discipline and commitment. His service was one of his proudest accomplishments, reflecting his dedication to his Country.

Ed was known not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his warm and engaging personality. He had a great sense of humor, which endeared him to many. Friends and acquaintances alike will fondly remember Ed for his laughter and the joy he brought into their lives. Ed loved hunting. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed being outdoors enjoying the sport with friends. Ed's service to his community went beyond the military as he graciously donated his body to Gift of Life.

He is survived by his dear friend Arlin Yoder and his wife, who, along with many others, will cherish the memories they created with him. Ed will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his dedication to service, and the joyful spirit he brought into the lives of those around him.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Burial services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
