Edgar Earl Lonas, 91, of Cochranville, passed away on June 29, 2023, at Christiana Care in Newark, Delaware. He was the husband of the late Ruth Helen Massey Lonas who died in 1995. Born in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Edgar and Catherine Golightly Lonas.

Edgar was an area resident most of his life. He was employed by Binkley and Ober Block Company of Cochranville.

He is survived by his son, Richard Lonas and wife Christine of Cochranville, grandchildren Derrick, Adrienne, Aaron, Brooke, Rhianna, and great-grandchildren Corbin, Makenna, Landon, Avery, Raylynn, Cooper, Hayley, Zoey and siblings Dorothy "Betty" Lawrence and Norman Lonas. He was preceded in death by four siblings; Olin Lonas, Robert Lonas, Barbara Mellinger and Peg Simms.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
