Dorothy K. Bryson

Dorothy K. Bryson, 88, of Oxford, formerly of Cochranville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the widow of the late Calvert Bryson who died in 1988. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Esworthy Kauffman.

Dorothy was an area resident all her life and a graduate of the former West Fallowfield High School in Cochranville. She was employed, for over 20 years, at the Christiana Sewing Factory in Christiana, PA. Mrs. Bryson was a faithful member of the Cochranville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two children; William H. Bryson and wife Lori of Christiana, PA and Sherry L., wife of Terry Carolus of Cochranville, one granddaughter Dana Bryson Benn of Kentucky and two sisters; Martha Gill of Las Vegas, NE and Doris Hall of Christiana, PA.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 1:00pm in the Cochranville Methodist Cemetery, located between Cochran St. and Route 41 in Cochranville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
