Doris Virginia Fisher, 83, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Garden Spot Village of New Holland.  She was the beloved wife of William L. Fisher, Jr., with whom she shared 20 years of marriage.



Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Anna (Shephard) Smale.  She was retired from the Borough of Downingtown where she worked as an Office Clerk.



Doris is survived, in addition to her husband, by her stepsons, James Fisher of Downingtown, Robert Fisher, husband of Ellen Ann, of Coatesville and Timothy Fisher, husband of Theresa, of West Chester; six step grandchildren and one step great grandchild, and her sister-in-law, Kay Smale of Mena, AR.



The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 31st, 2012 at 11 AM at the Parkesburg Methodist Church, 411 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment in the Hibernia United Methodist Cemetery of Coatesville.  The viewing will be held at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.
