Diane P Pitts

Diane (Reuscher) Pitts, a beloved retired nurse from Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on October 2, 1949, in Camden New Jersey, Diane spent her life dedicated to the care of others, embodying the qualities that made her a remarkable healthcare professional.

Diane was characterized by her unwavering commitment and compassion. Her kind and welcoming nature meant that she consistently made others feel at ease, whether they were her patients or her loved ones. Her great sense of humor brought joy to many and created an environment that fostered warmth and kindness. Her endless stories and experiences that she would share often as advice will forever be remembered.

Diane held dear the time spent with her family, forging cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she loved. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Miller, her grandchildren, Nathan Vanzanten and Lilliana Sky Miller, who will remember her fondly as a source of support and laughter. Also her daughter Diane Matkowski and son Jason Matkowski. 

Diane is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Reuscher, and her mother, Dolores Ash. As we reflect on Diane's life, we celebrate the warmth she radiated, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched in her journey.
