Dennis B. Canipe, 68, of Avondale, PA died on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Coatesville VAMC hospice unit. Born in Mountain City, TN, he was the son of the late Allen J. and Elaine Edwards Canipe.

Dennis proudly serviced his Country in the US Air Force. He enlisted in 1967 and retired as a Tech Sgt., jet engine technician in 1987. He served in Vietnam and was awarded 1 Bronze Oak Leaf and 1 Silver Oak Leaf Cluster for meritorious duty while there.

He is survived by two children; James Canipe of Kennett Square and Brandi Reed of Atlantic Beach, FL, four grandchildren and two siblings; Gary D. Canipe of Avondale and Diana Canipe of Kennett Square.

Graveside services at Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square, will be held and announced at a later date.
