Della Rhea Bryant

Della Rhea Bryant, 91, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February, 18, 2026. She was the wife of the late Millard Earl Bryant who died in 1978. Born in Shouns, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Vance Thomas and Ethel Greene Thomas.

Down through her working years, Della was employed by various institutions as a cook and housekeeper.

She enjoyed searching for greens, cooking, gardening, dancing, the outdoors, being the life of the party, chewing her tobacco and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived, by two children; Boyd Eugene Bryant, Sr. and wife Brenda of West Grove, PA and Tina Marie Cornett and husband James M. Cornett, Jr. of Parkesburg, PA, many nieces and nephews, as well as seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 36 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter Wilma Lee Tuggle and five siblings; Grady Thomas, Alfred Thomas, Beula Thomas, James Thomas and Judy Thomas and one great grandson Toye Aaron Jackson Jr., and one great great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned. Details will be posted here as soon as possible when finalized.
