Darlene M. Everhart, age 79, of Sadsburyville, PA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Lancaster, PA. She was born in Coatesville, PA, to the late Lewis and Kathryn (Wallace) McMichael.

A proud graduate of Coatesville High School, Darlene devoted many years of her career to Chemical Leaman, later serving as a secretary for Vanguard in Malvern, PA. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Darlene cherished creating lasting memories with her loved ones, particularly during trips to Wildwood beach.

Darlene is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michele (Garry) Summers of Honey Brook, PA, and her granddaughters, Santana and Katelyn DeHaven, along with her great-granddaughters, Charra and Shea Coleman. She is also survived by her brothers, David (Deb) McMichael and Ken McMichael. Darlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer L. DeHaven, and her granddaughter, Katherine Ann Coleman.

As we celebrate Darlene's life, we honor her profound love for family, her dedication to gardening, and the wonderful memories she created with those who held a special place in her heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Little Britain Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 10th, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home.
